Enphase Entering UK Market With New Two-In-One Solar Products

US energy tech company Enphase has announced its plan to expand in Europe, including a new UK partnership.

Enphase is the leading supplier of microinverter-based solar and battery systems worldwide.

As part of a new agreement between REA Power and Heatable, Enphase is due to expand in Europe. This will include deploying a new AC modules product in the UK in the form of their integrated IQ8 Microinverters.

Along with entering the UK market, Enphase will introduce its IQ8™ Microinverters to the Republic of Ireland. These AC modules, as three distinct products, will back up fresh solar panels with high power levels.

Enphase, working along with Heatable and REA Power are to introduce the Fusion2 AC Module to the UK market.

Conventionally, a solar setup involves DC reaching an inverter from the installed solar panels, at which point it is converted into AC. This ensures that the electricity can be used safely by the household.

However, REA’s Fusion2 AC Module offers a combined and streamlined product featuring both solar panels and IQ8 Microinverters as a two-in-one unit. As a result, this setup can, according to Enphase, lower installation costs, simplify the setup process and enhance system reliability.

The announced introduction of this product follows the completion of testing and certification. This module will also come with a 25-year warranty.
